The luxury tour operator hosted its annual Travel Agent Awards ceremony in London on Friday, marking the fourth edition of the celebratory event.
Held at Shangri-La The Shard, London, the celebration was attended by more than 120 agents, up from 70 last year.
Habib Rehman, managing director at Exsus, revealed that the company now owes about 95% of its business to agents: “We don’t take the agent support for granted. Your loyalty makes us work even harder.”
The Top Overall Agency for the UK went to Designer Travel, who have been the reigning holders of the prestigious title since the event’s launch in 2019.
Top Scotland Agency was once again awarded to Murray Travel, with Oasis Travel also retaining its title as Top Agency for Northern Ireland.
Meanwhile, Best Newcomer went to Kelly Bowen of Luxury Dream Holidays, while Off Broadway Travel was named Top Agency for the South of England. Aquilium Travel was another title keeper, bagging Top Agency for the North of England for a second year in a row. David Walker of The Travel Snob was named Exsus Travel Ambassador, while Sally Wallis from Beaver Travel was awarded the Top Selling Agent.
Sinziana Renciuc, director of sales at Exsus, announced earlier this year that it would be hosting its first Elite Agents Fam Trip in October 2025.
The company has selected four of its top sellers, as well as their respective plus-ones, to join them on an educational tour of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. The group will fly business class to the remote destination, where they will experience a specially curated itinerary with activities such as sailing on the Endemic catamaran.
“This trip is a celebration of our strongest agency partners and the exceptional work they do in selling our bespoke luxury travel experiences,” said Renciuc. “We’re excited to offer this exclusive opportunity to our top agents and ensure they experience the destinations we craft for our clients, so they can sell them with confidence and passion, but also to thank them for their hard work!”
