Evok Nolinski Venezia will open this summer with a facade decorated with mythical creatures and an interior from designers Lecoadic & Scotto bringing together Art Nouveau, Stile Liberty and Modernism influences.
Housing 43 rooms, including 13 suites, the hotel will incorporate stuccos, wood panelling and art pieces across its five floors.
Swiss-inspired treatments will be offered in the Ottoman-inspired domed spa where the golden mosaic lined pool has views over the Venetian rooftops.
A courtyard cafe will serve up simple Italian dishes with a contemporary twist, like crudo, pinsa romana, cicchetti, and pasta alla Genovese.
Drinks can be enjoyed in the Library Bar, which features a contemporary ceiling fresco by Simon Buret and a piano for guests’ use and is lined with over four thousand books.
Chef Philip Chronopoulos will bring his Greek heritage and experience in Paris and London to the main restaurant, Palais Royal Restaurant Venezia, which will be housed in a grand former council chamber.
