Now entering its seventh year, the conference has a line-up of speakers and panellists that now includes seasoned luxury tour operator Ian Neale, chief executive of Quintessentially Lifestyle and Travel, Europe and US.
The annual event will take place at The Montcalm hotel on September 8 and will include a session with luxury travel advisors on how they are evolving their business.
Panellists will include Stuart McNair, founder of new business The Luxury Travel Advisors; Jessica Hargreaves, creative director and co-founder of The Beyond Travel Company; and Tiffany Woodley, director of Myriad Travel, a retail agency she started in Liverpool after many years in sales for hotel groups such as Six S
Trends in luxury hospitality and the challenges of starting a new luxury hotel will be discussed by Chris Ward, commercial director of the 50-acre Farncombe Estate in the Cotswolds that is now home to Dormy House, Foxhill Manor and The Fish.
Digital marketing will also be on the agenda, when Amarath Sokhi, managing director of SEO agency Polaris, talks about how luxury travel hotels and brands need to understand the psychology of consumer search.
The newly-announced speakers for the afternoon conference will join two headline speakers, seen as innovators and risk-takers in how they approach life and business.
Explorer Christina Franco is aiming to be the first woman to walk solo to the North Pole and also heads up the Explorer Programme at the South Kensington Club, from where she coordinates a diverse range of trips and experiences for members.
Also at the conference, Gracia Amico, chief executive of PetsPyjamas, will talk about the huge growth in the “hound pound” and what UK consumers’ love of dogs could also mean for travel businesses. Amico has also held senior e-commerce roles with fashion brands such as Hobbs, Topman and Burberry.
