The biggest day in luxury travel - Luxpo, Ultratravel Forum & The ULTRAs

Taking place on May 23 at The Savoy in London, the day will combine Luxpo, the Ultratravel Forum in partnership with ttgluxury and The ULTRAs Dinner.

At Luxpo, agents and suppliers from across the luxury sector will come together for the fourth in this series of unique events, launched by ttgluxury in 2014.

The format of Luxpo sees handpicked luxury agents meet with a range of carefully curated suppliers for “speed-dating” one-to-one meetings over the course of the morning on May 23 at The Savoy.

Managing director of TTG Media Daniel Pearce said: “We’re delighted to work with Ultratravel again, as one of the most respected brands in luxury travel. And Luxpo forms a crucial part of what we are creating as the biggest day in luxury travel in the UK. Our event ensures agents and suppliers can have the one-to-one conversations they need to, about the more individual requirements for their businesses and clients.”

Agents will be able to meet with a wide range of suppliers at Luxpo including 3Sixty Luxury Marketing; AeroMexico; Anantara; Aruba Tourism; Atlantis The Palm, Dubai; Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts; Birmingham Airport; Capella Hotels and Resorts; Crystal Cruises; Expedia Travel Agents Affiliate Progamme; Hapag Lloyd Cruises; ITC Luxury Travel; One&Only Resorts; Per Aquum; Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts; Tourism New Zealand; Uniworld; UNNA Luxury Resorts & Residences; and Velas Resorts.

Luxpo is also set to expand regionally with events coming up in Edinburgh in June, Manchester in July and Belfast in September.

Luxury agents and suppliers who participate in Luxpo also benefit from a complimentary ticket for the Ultratravel Forum in partnership with ttgluxury in the afternoon.

The Forum will see some of the most respected and innovative people and companies in luxury travel take to the stage in sessions moderated by April Hutchinson, editor of ttgluxury, Chris Hartley, chief executive of Global Hotel Alliance and Charles Starmer-Smith, head of travel of the Telegraph Media Group and editor of Ultratravel.

The Presidents Panel will include Edie Rodriguez, president and chief executive of Crystal Cruises; Shelley Cline, president of private jet tour operator TCS World Travel; and Frank Marrenbach, chief executive of Oetker Collection.

A session on the future of luxury hotel design will hear from Anchalika Kijkanakorn, managing director of Akaryn Hotel Group in Thailand, who is developing a hotel in Cambodia designed by Kenzo; and Will Meyer and Gray Davis, co-founders of award-winning, New York-based interior design company Meyer Davis, responsible for numerous luxury hotels.

In the evening, the day will be rounded off with The ULTRAs – Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards – which have become an industry benchmark, with events in London, New York and Dubai.

The ULTRAs Dinner at The Savoy will be the 10th ULTRAs event in the UK and will reflect the voting of readers of Ultratravel and The Daily Telegraph. Voting for The 2016 ULTRAs will also run on The Daily Telegraph website.

Delegate tickets for the Forum or for The ULTRAs Dinner cost £195 each and combined tickets are also available for £375 to attend both events.
