The virtual event is called Excellence and is being hailed as the world’s first virtual recruitment fair dedicated to the luxury sector.

It will take place via an app designed for the three-day event, which will take place 7-9 October and hotels will be among 70 luxury brands participating.

Groups such as Aman, Dorchester Collection, La Reserve Group and Maisons Pariente have already signed up, along with Forbes Travel Guide and Accor Luxury Brands, with some of its individual hotels such as Sofitel St James London and The Savoy also taking part.

Other luxury hotels including L’Apogee Courchevel, Bulgari London, Byblos St Tropez, Chateau St Martin, Conrad Bora Bora Nui, Royal Mansour and Eden Rock Saint Barths will also take part.

The event is run by global luxury recruitment network Vendom, which has 16,500 members, but Excellence is open to anyone interested in working in the luxury industry.

As well as recruitment connections, attendees will be able to participate in 12 live conferences held throughout the event. Recruiters meanwhile can create and host their own workshops for up to 50 attendees.
