'New chapter' for Iconic Luxury Hotels with London opening

The Mayfair Townhouse will have a restaurant called The Dandy Bar, a private gym, event spaces and 172 rooms, including two penthouse and garden suites.

It is located in Half Moon Street in Westminster, has seven listed Georgian buildings within its structure and will be overseen by Andrew Stembridge, Iconic Luxury Hotels’ executive director.

"The upcoming launch of The Mayfair Townhouse is a significant moment in the history of Iconic Luxury Hotels," said Stembridge.

"It marks an exciting new chapter for the collection, and we are proud to welcome our second London hotel to further contribute to Iconic Luxury Hotels’ esteemed reputation of effortless hospitality, people with personality, unique experiences and iconic addresses."

The brand has four other properties, including Cliveden House, a stately home in Berkshire; Chewton Glen, an English manor house near the New Forest; The Lygon Arms, a 600-year-old Cotswolds coaching inn; and 11 Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea.
