LVMH Hotel Management will unveil its latest foray into hospitality with the opening of White 1921 Courchevel on December 19.
The 25-room hotel has been designed by French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and is a sister property to White 1921 Saint-Tropez, an eight-room hotel which has been in the legendary town since 2012.
The new ski hotel will open for the season until April 10 and sits right on the Croisette in the centre of Courchevel 1850.
It’s close to the main ski lifts and guests are offered the hotel’s dedicated Ski Service, which will be taking care of boots, boards and skis and offering tips on the day ahead.
There is no restaurant as such, but breakfast is served in the Grand Salon around a farmer’s market table, or in-room.
Accommodation options include two large family rooms, while several rooms feature balconies or terraces with village and mountain views.
There’s also a sauna, hammam and gym, as well as the Petit Salon featuring a library and afternoon tea service.
Rooms start from €290 per night including breakfast, making stays more affordable than LVMH Hotel Management’s other brand Cheval Blanc, which has hotels in the Maldives, St Barths and Courchevel.
Meanwhile, LVMH parent Moet Hennessy has a new partnership with Ecole Ferrieres which will see it oversee courses in hospitality, gastronomy, wine and luxury.
