Onefinestay adds St Tropez

The Accor-owned brand has launched 40 villas into its collection in anticipation of travel to France for the summer.

Weekly rates start from $18,000 and each villa is personally vetted by Onefinestay for “quality, location, elegance and comfort” with every stay coming with concierge services, professional housekeeping and 24/7 support.

Concierge services available include in-villa spa treatments, vineyard tours, yoga classes and airport transfers.

“The south of France is home to some of the most luxurious villas, exclusive events and holiday experiences in the world, and so it was an obvious addition worth exploring for our Villa Collection,” said Thomas Girard, chief executive of Onefinestay.

He added that the search for the villas had begun before the coronavirus crisis. “Now as travel bans begin to lift we’re seeing a rebound in inquiries for villa holidays, especially for the French Riviera, and we look forward to welcoming guests to our newest destination soon,” Girard said.

A key luxury trend in the coronavirus era is said to be the search for private accommodation, so the brand’s portfolio extension comes at the right time. Onefinestay said “enhanced housekeeping and guest safety protocols” would also be observed.

Options include Villa Pearl, a six-bedroom option set in vineyards on the edge of St Tropez village, five minutes’ walk from the beach, from $24,800 a week and Villa Pampelonne, with six bedrooms, pool, and an expansive garden, from $51,200 a week.
