Advantage Travel Partnership chief Julia Lo Bue-Said has expressed her hope the travel sector “will not go unnoticed” by the new government set to be appointed by Liz Truss this week.
Lo Bue-Said urged Truss to “get to grips with the colossal tasks in hand” and support travel businesses battling cost of living pressures after winning the Conservative leadership election on Monday (5 September).
“After two years of shutdown to a year when our recovery was hampered by the hangover of Covid, I am very much hoping the travel industry will not go unnoticed,” she said.
