Lo Bue-Said was among several Extraordinary Award winners on Monday night (11 July), which included Charitable Travel, Kuoni, Black Tomato and One Green Bean.
The TMAs said Lo Bue-Said "stood out as an exceptional industry leader throughout the pandemic". "She spoke up for the industry, lobbied government, encouraged collaboration, advocated for travel agents and more," said the judges.
Lo Bue-Said tweeted: "Amazing, so truly honoured. It’s been a huge team effort over the past two years. So chuffed, thank you so much."
Other Extraordinary Award winners included Charitable Travel, which was recognised for its #TravelForGood campaign, Kuoni for "Our people are the difference", Black Tomato for "Take me on a story and field trip", and One Green Bean for Visit Jersey’s "Staycation domination" push.
