The event had been due to be held in Madeira at the Savoy Palace Hotel over 15-18 May, and will be pushed back to 21-24 May 2021.
It comes after the Foreign Office updated its travel advice at the weekend to advise against all non-essential travel worldwide for an indefinite period owing to the coronavirus pandemic,
Advantage said like the rest of the industry, it was adapting to an “ever-evolving situation”, adding its priority remained providing daily support, advice and expertise to help members navigate “unprecedented times”.
Chief executive Julia Lo Bue-Said said: “It is disappointing that we have had to postpone this year’s conference as we know how highly it is valued by our members and partners.
“However, the safety of our delegates is our main priority and postponing is now the right decision.”
