Airlines including British Airways, easyJet and Ryanair have said that flights could be affected.
The Irish airline said that the industrial action was the 41st strike since 2009 and once again called on the French government and European Commission to take action.
Ryanair added that it was “forced to cancel a number of flights on Sunday, with further flights cancelled on Monday”.
EasyJet cancelled 32 flights yesterday and advised passengers to allow extra time to get to the airport.
British Airways said it had cancelled some flights to and from France, adding that delays to other destinations were likely.
The French workers are reportedly striking because of a recruitment cap and a lack of investment.
