Aito’s All Stars booking incentive programme has set a new calendar year record for sales.
The scheme, which aims to foster a closer relationship between agents and tour operators, generated total sales of £56.4 million for calendar year 2015 – a rise of 6%. The average commission per agency was £48,000.
38 tour operators (31% of the membership) currently take part in the scheme, alongside all 116 agents.
“We had amazing sales when we stood here last year, and we’d had an increase of about 13%,” said Gemma Antrobus, chairman of Aito Agents.
“So it was going to be a real toughie to beat that year on year but as you can see through your hard work it’s been amazing.”
