Airline group Air France-KLM has said revenues will be reduced by around €70 million as a result of the Paris terrorist atrocity.
Air France, KLM and Hop! together reported a 1.1% fall in passenger numbers, down to 6.2 million, during December. The overall load factor decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 82.8%.
However, with the inclusion of Dutch low-cost airline Transavia, total group passengers were “stable” at 6.7 million.
Air France-KLM said that services to Japan had suffered in the wake of the attack as well as other Asian and North American routes.
The company said: “Booking trends in December were in line with a progressive recovery.”
The co-ordinated terror attacks across the French capital on November 13 killed 130 people.
The company is currently in the middle of a restructuring programme in a bid to restore long-term profitability.
Some capacity is being cut and the route network scaled back, which will result in 2,900 job cuts.
