The event will take place in a five-star spa hotel in a rural location over the last weekend in November.
Aito chair Chris Rowles said the region was famous for “black bears, cider and bagpipes”, with the conference location being a short taxi ride from the nearby city of Oviedo.
Rowles said he made “no apologies” for returning to Spain following last year’s event in Valladolid. “It is like going to a totally different country; it is so different from any other part of Spain,” he said.
Manuel Butler, Spanish Tourist Office UK director, highlighted “the landscape, the food, the people” of the region.
Aito will also hold a summer away day in the UK. The event on 27 June, will take place at the Lensbury Club in Teddington, with members encouraged to bring staff for a barbecue lunch.
