Guests embarked on a seven-night "Secrets of Egypt and The Nile" itinerary from Luxor after a celebratory cocktail hour at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo.
Featuring 36 staterooms and 16 suites between 370 and 430 square foot, the 72-passenger vessel has a range of amenities including a swimming pool, bar and two restaurants.
The "Secrets of Egypt and The Nile" itinerary operates from September through June each year, sailing round trip from Luxor to Aswan with intra-Egypt flights between Cairo and Luxor.
Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder of AmaWaterways, said she was "delighted" to see AmaDahlia sailing the Nile.
