The line has partnered with the marine conservation charity as part of its investment into sustainable cruising. The partnership includes the launch of an anti-whaling campaign.
The pledge will also see ORCA place two ocean conservationists across 11 sailings onboard Ambience in 2022 and 2023. Two of the 11 cruises will be Ambassador’s multi-generational cruises in summer 2022.
The first sailing, which was completed last month, saw the team onboard assist with wildlife spotting and educated guests on the threats facing the marine environment. They also offered workshops, excursions and deck watches.
Sally Hamilton, ORCA chief executive, said: "This is a very special partnership, and it was a real privilege to be on the first ORCA-Ambassador cruise.
"We are collaborating in a multitude of ways, from training the team at Ambassador Cruise Line’s head office, working on their first ship, and helping this new company make ethical and positive choices."
The next ORCA cruise is the 11-day British Isles Discovery sailing on 12 July.
