American Affair has expanded its commercial team with two appointments – a new hire and a promotion – which boss Chris Hadley said would help the brand serve its agent partners better.
The brand, sister to Canadian Affair, has named Mandy McGlade product manager and Stuart Rogers head of product and commercial.
McGlade brings product experience from stints with Titan Travel, Kuoni and most recently Newmarket Holidays, and a spell with KBC PR and Marketing.
In her role as product manager, she will be tasked with developing the tour operator’s bespoke packages to the US. “With ambitious plans for the future of the company, I look forward to adding to the innovative ideas and plans that are in store,” said McGlade.
Rogers, meanwhile, has been promoted to the role of head of product and commercial following a 20-year career across the Canadian Affair and American Affair brands.
He will focus on expanding the tour operator’s portfolio, working alongside Brand USA on future fam trips.
American Affair and Canadian Affair managing director Hedley said: “It’s important we continue to invest in our operation if we are to deliver high quality US travel packages to our travel agent partners and their customers.
"I am confident that, together, Mandy and Stuart will drive effective growth for American Affair in the years ahead.”
