The appointment comes as part of an internal restructure to help the business facilitate its global growth plans, after the group rebranded and moved to a new office last year.

As a result, former 365Tickets managing director Peter Flambard will join the company as managing director of the newly formed B2C subsidiary, TixGroup. 

Olly Nicholls, chief executive of AWG, said: "Part of our global expansion of the business meant we were tackling different industry problems on the B2B side and B2C sides of the business, so the time has come to increase the focus of the two channels under separate leadership.

"Justin has been the driving force behind the rebuild of AWG, and I am delighted he has accepted the role of managing director and to lead the team into the next chapter.

"Peter, I have known for nearly 15 years, and I have always been impressed with how he has led his teams at 365 Tickets."

Mahoney added: "Olly and I have left no stone unturned since the acquisition in June 2021, supporting the team to put Attraction World back where it belongs, and it humbles me to now take the reins from him and lead the business through what will be an extraordinarily exciting time for all who are connected."
