The store, which will be at the Fort Kinnaird Retail Park, is set to open later this year, creating around 16 jobs in the local area.

It is the fifth Barrhead store in the Edinburgh area and will be dedicated to long-haul travel and cruise and will also feature a foreign currency unit, the company said.

The Scottish agency said additionally investing millions of pounds in new store launches across the UK in 2018 including shop fit outs staffing, technology, training, IT and support.
