Birmingham and Glasgow airports are poised to gain new routes to Italy this summer.

Ryanair has announced twice-weekly Pisa services from the two airports as part of an expanded summer schedule.
The Glasgow-Pisa service will get under way next month, with Birmingham flights starting in June.
Director of marketing Dara Brady said the additions would further increase choice for UK holidaymakers, adding the carrier looked forward to welcoming "thousands" of customers onto its new services this summer.
