The new recruits, who joined in September and October 2022, are all experienced travel agents, some having worked in travel their entire career and others having held roles in teaching and hospitality prior to, or even in tandem with, joining the industry.
One of the new recruits who joined the PTCs in July, Kerry Jones, interned at Going Places and worked her way up to store manager, before joining Courtesy Travel for five years and then Your Co-op Travel.
She said: "After I was made redundant from Co-op, I didn’t want my next move to be another high street agency role.
