Andrew Flintham is to leave Tui after 17 years to take up the role of British Airways Holidays’ managing director.

Andrew Flintham, managing director for Tui, said the airline has recruited more staff and have more aircraft available

Andrew Flintham has been with Tui since 2007 and has risen through the ranks to the role of managing director

Flintham will succeed Claire Bentley, who will retire from her position at the end of October after 24 years. Neil Swanson, Tui UK and Ireland’s chief marketing officer, will replace Flintham as part of a wider restructure of Tui’s global business.

Prior to becoming Tui’s UK and Ireland managing director in 2018, Flintham held several senior positions with the firm – and at one stage nearly joined Tui’s arch-rival Thomas Cook.
