British Airways will resume flights to Kos next summer, this time from Gatwick airport, after it pulled its Heathrow-Kos service late last year.
The route will fly three times weekly, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from May 15 through October 26, increasing BA’s Greek destinations to 12.
It will be operated by Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft out of Gatwick’s south terminal, with economy fares leading in from £70 and business £222.
Adam Carson, BA managing director for Gatwick, said: “Greece is incredibly popular with our customers, so we’re excited to add another sunshine route to our growing network, giving holidaymakers even more choice of destinations at competitively low prices.”
Seats are available to book now. Fares can be reduced by using Avios part payment.
BA additionally flies to Athens, Santorini, Rhodes, Skiathos, Thessaloniki, Zante, Mykonos, Kefalonia, Kalamata, Crete and Corfu in Greece.
