The carrier has announced the route will recommence on 20 April from Heathrow, with bookings available from Thursday (19 October).
Flights will depart at 10.25pm while return services will operate at 10.10am in the summer and at 11.10am in the winter.
To celebrate the relaunch, BA is also offering return fares from £449 per person for economy, with prices going up to £1,999 when flying business.
The carrier initially suspended services to the UAE city when the pandemic hit in March 2020, axing the route six months later after passenger numbers plunged due to Covid.
The relaunch comes as Abu Dhabi is set to unveil its newest terminal, Terminal A, on 1 November.
“With a blend of beach, city and desert, it has everything our customers are looking for in a Middle Eastern trip, and we look forward to welcoming them back onboard as we grow our footprint in the UAE,” said BA’s director of network and alliances, Neil Chernoff.
“We’re delighted to welcome British Airways back to Abu Dhabi International Airport, adding to the growing list of leading carriers set to use Terminal A as their operational base in Abu Dhabi,” added Abu Dhabi Airports chief commercial officer Maureen Bannerman.
