A new study has reveal the aircraft behaviours British travellers find the most irksome.
A survey from YouGov discovered Brits found drunkenness the least acceptable behaviour in the skies, with more than four in five (85%) voting this their biggest qualm.
Meanwhile, personal grooming in public – such as combing hair or clipping nails – was found unacceptable by almost three-quarters of respondents (70%). However, less than a third said the felt the same way about public displays of affection (29%).
The proportion of Brits who find loud and noisy children above the age of four unacceptable (60%) is more than twice the proportion of those who think the same about crying babies (25%).
Almost eight in 10 (78%) are annoyed by passengers who don’t use headphones while watching or listening to media. Nearly one in 10 (9%), however, are tolerant of such behaviour.
However, Brits are not as bothered as their global counterparts when it comes to passengers removing their footwear (48%) and being forced into small talk by chatty co-passengers (33%).
