The funds will go to World Central Kitchen to support those living in the region impacted by Russia’s invasion of the country.
Christine Duffy, Carnival Cruise Line’s president, also presented a $50,000 donation to the brand’s partner Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami.
The donations were made during the company’s 50th birthday celebrations onboard Carnival Conquest on Friday (11 March).
"On this very day, 50 years ago, history was made when the first Carnival Cruise Line ship, the TSS Mardi Gras, embarked on her maiden voyage from right here at PortMiami," Duffy added.
"For half a century, we have made cruising available to everyone and have provided millions of people with fun and memorable vacations."
TTG has set up a JustGiving page for the TTG Ukraine Crisis appeal, with all the proceeds being donated directly to the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
