Following a 22-year career with the firm, former managing director Sadler will continue to serve as corporate secretary for the line’s parent company, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH), a role he has held since 2016.
Smith’s move to managing director international will see Andrea DeMarco, current chief sales and marketing officer, succeed Jason Montague as president of Regent.
"It has been a privilege to lead the Regent Seven Seas Cruises business in EMEA, LATAM and Brazil and I am incredibly proud of all that our team has achieved during my 22 years with the company," Sadler said.
"In announcing my retirement, I do so with full confidence in my colleagues’ ceaseless dedication to deliver an unrivalled experience for both our guests and our travel partners."
Having worked alongside Sadler in the UK office since 2015, Smith – who was previously vice-president of global marketing for the line – will now lead Regent’s growth strategy by overseeing sales and marketing for EMEA, APAC, LATAM and Brazil.
"Graham’s extensive experience and guidance has built an enviable operation in the EMEA region, and I look forward to building on this as we deliver our future growth plans around the globe," said Smith.
Elsewhere, Frank A Del Rio, current chief sales and marketing officer for Oceania Cruises, has been named president of Oceania Cruises, succeeding Howard Sherman.
"I look forward to building on the incredible momentum we are experiencing at the renowned Oceania Cruises brand," Del Rio said.
"I am truly humbled and thankful to lead the world-class team at Oceania and I am excited for the bright future we have ahead of us at the brand and the company."
