Stars from ITV’s Love Island have teamed up with Celebrity Cruises to give away prizes, including 36 cruises, 35,000 spot prizes and £50,000 worth of cash giveaways.
The line said it would build on its #CelebrityLovesAgents commitment, with personal visits to top agents from the show’s stars, including Jamie Jewitt, Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen.
Agents with the most sales, by volume or growth, will be in with a chance to meet the Love Islanders, who will hit the road with the Celebrity Cruises sales team next April, with homeworkers, high street agents, cruise specialists and consortia all able to win a VIP meeting.
Top-performing agents will also win £500 worth of Celebrity Rewards points, presented by one of the TV stars.
The Love Island trio dropped in to Celebrity’s agent-dedicated call centre on Wednesday to celebrate the campaign’s launch, assisting Celebrity’s trade support team and surprising agents with a phone call.
Claire Stirrup, sales director, Celebrity Cruises UK and Ireland, said: “If you watched Love Island, you’ll fall in love with this campaign, and if you didn’t you’ll take one look at the stars involved and fall in love anyway. We make no secret of loving our agent partners, and we have ramped up that affection this turn-of-year.”
The line will offer details of spot prizes and how to win them on its agent Facebook page between December and March. Celebrity said agents would also be supported through an “extensive advertising campaign” to drive awareness of the brand, including a TV campaign.
Customers will be offered a free Classic Drinks package for bookings made before March 14, 2018, on all European and The Arabian Gulf sailings.
