Cruise and Maritime Voyages’ (CMV) latest travel agent incentive helped the line achieve record sales from the trade for the start of 2018.
More than 1,500 agents entered for a chance of winning one of 10 super prizes designed to keep the travel trade stay fit and healthy during the year.
Among the prizes on offer to agents were a fam trip place on a Magellan cruise to the Norwegian fjords later this month, which was won up by Kelly Swinhoe from ROL Cruise. Tracey Murray from Miles Morgan Travel meanwhile received a Fitbit Charge.
Lisa Jacobs, CMV’s head of trade sales, said: “Trade support throughout the year continues to be excellent.
“CMV were delighted with the response to this draw to win one of 10 prizes. All were related to some of the most popular New Year resolutions. The prizes were associated with health, time keeping, reducing stress, more sleep and food.”
CMV have a trade incentive currently running until April 30.
Among the 10 prizes are two tickets for the Chelsea Flower Show, Joules printed wellies, Molton Brown gift sets, a Virgin pamper day for two, a large Hotel Chocolat hamper and a family visit to the Lucky Tails Alpaca Farm.
Jacobs added: “We have put together 10 prizes to remind our trade partners that spring is here, so they can put behind them the cold spell and enjoy the benefits of booking with CMV.
“We just need the agents name, Abta number, and the booking reference.”
