A partnership with cruise specialist agency Blue Water Holidays will enable CroisiEurope to offer Atol-protected packages from 1 March.

John Fair, CroisiEurope UK sales director, said: “We’re really excited to be working with Blue Water Holidays who will be managing our call centre. We’ve enjoyed a successful relationship with them for many years and I’m confident that they can help us with our expansion plans in the UK.

“With strong sales and increased interest in our river, ocean, coastal and hotel barge products, now is the perfect time to invest in the UK and further reinforce our commitment to this very important market.”

CroisiEurope is also increasing its sales team and recruiting for a business development manager for the Midlands, the north of England and Scotland.

In addition, it is targeting growth in its coach and group travel business, headed up in the UK by Gabrielle Alam.

The brand, which is based in Strasbourg and family-run, claims to be Europe’s largest river cruise operator, with 50 ships offering 180-plus itineraries.
