The group of 12 will begin in Petersfield on 16 September and cycle either a 50-mile or 100-mile loop, heading to the south coast and back.
Money raised will be donated to the FHA, which provides British seaside breaks and day trips to families facing hardship.
This year’s effort follows previous cycles in 2017, 2018 and 2019 ahead of Clia’s annual Cruise Forum and Winter Ball in December, which has allowed the cruise association and its members to help hundreds of families take a much-needed short break.
Taking part in the 2020 ride will be:
Ian Gilder, Adore Holidays and Cruises
Giles Hawke, Avalon Waterways
Richard Singer, icelolly.com
Dave Mills, Iglu.com
Bernie Carter, Oceania Cruises
Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises
Karen Farndell, Princess Cruises
Stuart Leven, Royal Caribbean International
Torey Kings-Hodkin, Royal Caribbean International
Edward Lang, Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Graham Sadler, Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Robbie White, Touchdown
Hawke said: “We believe that now is the right time to hold this fundraising event, as although we’re all struggling with our own business challenges and pressure on finances, there are many people in much more challenging situations and which the current climate will be making worse.
“Any funds we raise will help Family Holiday Association provide families with a well-deserved break, which can truly make all the difference to the quality of life for people living with real hardship.
“We understand that money may be tight at the moment and there may be some uncertainty, but any contribution no matter how big or small will be hugely appreciated by the Family Holiday Association and the families they help.”
