The event, which utilises 200 drones, will be offered to guests before the Disney Illuminations show.
Called Disney D-Light, the new pre-show will combine video projections, illuminated water jets, lighting effects, mist, Disney songs and drone choreography to "bring an additional touch of magic around the iconic castle", that has been renovated for the occasion.
The synchronised drones will form a sparkling figure “30” in the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle, while the new theme song created for the 30th anniversary – Un monde qui s’Illumine – will be played in the background.
It will be the first time a Disney Park has used the drone technology as part of a daily outdoor show above its castle.
To also mark the milestone, a new show will be performed every day on Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Consisting of three themes, it will feature more than 30 Disney characters and dancers with new colourful floats and a unique soundtrack.
Disneyland Park, meanwhile, will be home to the new Gardens of Wonder, comprised of 10 different theme-based gardens.
Installed in front of the main castle, the gardens will feature 30 new art pieces and kinetic Disney and Pixar sculptures which will "come to life and celebrate nature and embody diversity".
The Garden of Asia will include sculptures of Baymax from Big Hero 6, Mushu from Mulan and Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon.
The 3D modelling and handmade production of these 30 art pieces was carried out in collaboration with three French companies based in Ile-de-France.
Disneyland Park will also be redecorated using the iridescent theme, with sparkling blue and purple hues.
As of 6 March 2022 and as part of the celebration, guests will be able to enjoy more than 60 dishes with new vegetarian options including a vegan panini and a salted mashed potato waffle, desserts and exclusive cocktails.
Teams have also designed more than 350 new items to go on sale across the resort’s boutiques and shops, including limited-edition collectibles, keychains and anniversary-themed ear headbands.
British designer Stella McCartney has also created a unique Minnie Mouse T-shirt to go on sale as part of International Women’s Rights Day.
The anniversary will mark the opening of the new theme-based area Avengers Campus in summer 2022.
The new Walt Disney Studios Park attraction will "immerse" fans in the Marvel superheroes’ universe, with meet-and-greet events, restaurants and shops.
