In her previous role as head of brand development for Fantastic Services, Farenden helped take the firm from a small business to one of Britain’s largest service franchises, ranking seventh in the UK’s Top 100 Franchises.
In her new role, Farenden will be charged with growing and developing the marketing team, as well as implementing "new and innovative opportunities" for franchisees. She said she "needed a new challenge" and co-founders Steve Witt and Paul Harrison "really inspired her".
"They have overcome adversity to set up this massive business from nothing," she added. "Franchising is all about people – the stronger the network, the stronger the franchise.
"Steve and Paul aren’t just focused on short-term sales, but long-term development; that’s refreshing. I’m excited to build on this team and drive that innovation and vision forward."
Meanwhile, Witt said the appointment was "a real coup" for the company. "She’s the rocket fuel that will enable our company to soar. Paul and I were so impressed by her that we literally had to stop the job interview to tell her she had got the job."
