Marriott, who has previously worked for Jet2holidays and Midcounties Co-op as well as running his own travel agency in Manchester, will join dnata on 27 March.
In his new role, Marriott will have responsibility for “onboarding” new agents and driving fresh business opportunities at dnata.
Karen Fletcher, dnata Travel Group B2B trade partnerships director, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome Dale to our team. He brings a wealth of independent agent experience and knowledge gained during his career to date, and – having run his own agency – understands exactly what it is that agents need from us.
“He’s well liked and well respected by many in the trade, and we’re looking forward to him hitting the ground running when he starts next month as we work to expand our already market-leading network of agents even further.”
Marriott will be based at dnata’s office in Leyland and report to head of trade support Kym Coulbeck. He will also work alongside fellow trade partnership support manager Leigh Lavery.
“I have had a little break from the travel industry over the past year, but I am ready and excited to be getting back to the sector that I love, and which runs through my veins,” added Marriott.
