The Humberside airport-based airline, which had been a Flybe franchise partner, said it would “continue to work closely with the travel trade”, as well as selling routes through its website.
Eastern Airways said it would continue to “operate as normal” and would honour any tickets on the former Flybe services it operates for travel on Thursday (5 March), Friday (6 March), Sunday (8 March) and Monday (9 March).
The carrier will also take over three new former Flybe routes – Aberdeen-Birmingham, Southampton-Manchester and Southampton-Newcastle – from next week.
