The tour operator said the initiative offered “an industry-leading guarantee of flexibility and protection for customers”.
The promise includes a refund guarantee offering consumers all their money back up to 28 days before departure without any fees.
Customers can also opt to pay for their holiday in instalments with full payment only having to be made 28 days before travel.
Other features include a “best price” guarantee, freedom to change bookings and the ability to keep their deposit if plans change and they need to cancel the trip.
The promise has been launched as easyJet Holidays’ research showed that 33 million Britons have had their travel plans disrupted by Covid-19 this year. Despite this, 24% still intend to go on holiday before the end of 2020, with 38% of them willing to quarantine for two weeks when they get home if necessary.
Matt Callaghan, customer director at easyJet Holidays, said: “Consumer confidence in booking a holiday abroad has taken a huge hit this year and travellers have different priorities.
“That’s why we’re launching our new Protection Promise, setting a benchmark for customer flexibility in the industry and encouraging travellers to book their holidays with the reassurance that if things change they are protected.
“This isn’t a short-term move, this is a fundamental change to what customers can expect whenever they book with easyJet Holidays.”
