"EasyJet holidays continues to outperform and is expected to deliver £100 million-plus profit before tax in FY23 [year to 30 September 2023]," said easyJet in a trading update, adding the operator’s performance was "driving the group towards a strong outcome for FY23".
In addition, easyJet said demand for easyJet holidays product was continuing to grow, with winter bookings running at more than double last year.
It added that strong group revenue growth – up 34% year-on-year during Q3 to £2.36 billion – was down, in part, to "the continued outperformance of ancillary products and easyJet holidays".
EasyJet airline ancillary revenue grew by 28% year-on-year during Q3 to £622 million.
