Flights to both destinations will operate “up to” four times a week with fares from £25.99. The additions bring the number of routes served by the airline from Belfast City to six.
EasyJet has added 140,000 seats on routes from Belfast’s two airports to Gatwick, Luton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester following Flybe’s demise.
From June the airline will base an aircraft in Belfast City overnight to offer an early morning departure to Gatwick.
Katy Best, Belfast City commercial director, said: “In the space of 18 months, easyJet has significantly increased its capacity from Belfast City airport, which is not only a testament to the strength of our partnership but also showcases our commitment to providing passengers with choice, convenience, and flexibility.”
Flights to both destinations will begin on 26 June and operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Best added: “EasyJet’s flights to London Gatwick, Liverpool, Bristol, and Glasgow have already proved a massive success and we look forward to welcoming more easyJet travellers through the terminal doors.”
