EasyJet will offer new and existing cabin crew a bonus "recognition payment" at the end of its summer season as carriers continue to retain and recruit staff.
According to reports in the national press, crew will be given a one-off payment of £1,000 in recognition of their contributions to what is expected to be a busy summer period for the carrier.
A spokesperson for the airline told TTG: "EasyJet will be paying its cabin crew a recognition payment at the end of the summer season to recognise their contribution to the operation this summer, which is expected to be back at near 2019 levels for the first time since the pandemic."
The budget airline has reportedly so far hired 1,700 crew, up from its initial target of 1,500.
