She will take up the role of business development manager as part of the expedition cruise company’s plans to bolster its UK team.

Harber, who will join the existing UK team of managing director Jos Dewing and BDM James Turner, brings experience from her previous roles with Tradewind Voyages, P&O Cruises and Shore Excursions.

The addition comes after Aurora recently released a new season of 2023-24 Antarctica and 2023 Arctic and British Isles voyages.

"Aurora Expeditions is committed to growing and investing in the UK market," Dewing said. "We have seen incredibly strong growth from this market, particularly with our continued innovation in product offering and expansion of voyages.

"We are thrilled to welcome Katie to the Aurora family and look forward to working together with our valued trade networks to continue to raise awareness of Aurora’s unique offering and meet the growing trend of remote travel to the polar regions and beyond."
