The tour operator, which revamped its loyalty programme last year, will now let customers on the scheme to share their discounts and benefits with direct family members booking with Explore for the first time.
Travel agents booking for clients with a family member in the Explore loyalty programme can access the offer by quoting ’Pass It On’, as well as the name of the existing customer when making the new booking.
Explore’s global sales director Ben Ittensohn said: “This is another great way for travel agents to attract new customers. Explore travellers are able to share their love for Explore with their families. A fast-track into the loyalty programme means that new customers are immediately welcomed into the Explore family via their association with an existing member.
"We’ve also increasingly been hearing from agents that their customers who, for one reason or another, can’t travel at the moment, or whose travelling days are behind them. Now agents can encourage them to share their love of travel with their families, and perhaps explore vicariously through them," he added.
