Royal Caribbean has added a third cruise from the UK on its new ship Ovation of the Seas when it launches this spring.
The line has introduced a new three-night inaugural cruise from Southampton on the new Quantum class ship departing on April 14.
The extra UK itinerary on Ovation will be a round-trip to the Netherlands including a call at Rotterdam. Royal Caribbean is already operating two voyages from Southampton on the new ship in April.
Stuart Leven, managing director of Royal Caribbean International, UK & Ireland, said: “With three short sailings departing from Southampton, British holidaymakers have the very first chance to travel onboard the new Ovation of the Seas this spring.
“Ovation of the Seas is perfect for first timers wanting to enjoy the adventure playground of incredible experiences available right from their doorstep.’’
The other two Ovation trips from Southampton are a five-night cruise to France and Belgium on April 17-22 and a seven-night itinerary to France and Spain from April 22-29.
The ship will then set off on a 52-day cruise to its home port of Tianjin in China.
Innovations onboard Ovation include its Royal Suite Class cabins and a new DreamWorks experience which gives guests the chance to meet characters from animated classics such as Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar.
