The Rail-ly Big Event will take place at Swindon’s Steam Museum from 6pm to 10pm on 23 April, featuring some of the industry’s biggest rail suppliers.

These include Belmond, Eurostar, Rocky Mountaineer, GoldenPass Express, Bernina Express, Glacier Express, Die Zentralbahn, Maharajas Express, Jungfrau Railways, Rovos Rail, Caledonian Sleeper and Gornergrat Railway.

Travel Switzerland and Lake Lucerne Navigation will also be present at the event, where agents will have the chance to catch up with supplier representatives and attend product training sessions.

“With an impressive 80% uplift in bookings year to date, we’ve seen a huge demand for rail holidays,” said Fred Holidays rail product manager Sally Barlow.

“Following the successful introduction of our first standalone rail brochure, we felt the time was right to launch a dedicated event to educate agents and help them feel confident about recommending a rail holiday to their customers.”
