G said London-based Buck’s appointment follows an increase in demand for in-person events and training, especially from partners based in the London area.
Having entered the travel industry as a sales consultant at Tui, Buck joined G Adventures as a global connection officer in the global adventure operator’s contact centre in 2017.
"Tom’s drive, passion and agency support skills, which he has demonstrated during his time at G Adventures, has shone through during his time in the groups department and makes him a fantastic fit for the new GPS role," said Stu Darnley, national sales manager at G Adventures.
"His passion for people, existing trade relationships and extensive knowledge of the G Adventures brand will allow him to hit the ground running."
Taking responsibility for G’s London, the south east, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk region, Buck will head out on the road to spend time face-to-face with agents and provide support.
"We’re seeing a huge increase in in-person requests from agents and we’re excited to have another set of boots on the ground to ensure we’re delivering that face to face support to our partners," Darnley continued.
