Hays Travel has acquired Cruise.co.uk parent Victoria Travel Group Limited to spearhead its expansion into the online cruise selling market.

Hays has hailed the deal, which includes Victoria’s Seascanner brand and German division Kreuzfahrtberater.de, its biggest since it bought Thomas Cook in 2019.
Victoria Travel Group chief executive Chris Gardner will continue to lead the business, alongside UK managing director Tony Andrews, group chief financial officer Carl Tromans and German managing director Tom Reiter.
