Agents taking part in the two-night Edge European Premiere cruise will be able to use a new app to guide them around the ship and also win special prizes.

Claire Stirrup, director of sales, Celebrity Cruises UK and Ireland, said: “We’ve created an app, Discover Edge, for the first time that will help guide agents around the ship.

“They go to 10 different areas including staterooms and dining around the ship. They can win prizes by completing tasks, challenges and quizzes, and they will be instantly rewarded on the ship.”

Celebrity is launching an Edge Class sale for all agents offering an additional $100pp in onboard spend for their clients on bookings of Celebrity Edge and sister ship Celebrity Apex, made from 16-31 May.

Stirrup added there will also be an agent incentive to win one of 50 cabins onboard Apex when the new ship holds an inaugural cruise from Southampton in April 2020.
