The event, hosted by social enterprise Women in Travel CIC, will be held in Google’s central London office. Registrations opened on Thursday (5 May).
It will be the first time the organisation has held the forum in-person in two years, following a virtual event in 2021 and the inaugural gathering in Iceland in 2020.
Speakers include TTG chief executive Daniel Pearce, who will discuss male allyship, Zina Bencheikh, managing director EMEA of Intrepid Travel, Jo Rzymowska, vice president and managing director EMEA of Celebrity Cruises and Jamie Lee Abtar, multicultural lead and DEI in Travel Champion.
The day-long forum will act as a platform to discuss key issues that the travel, tourism and hospitality sector currently faces, in particular the role that women and the broader diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) agenda play in developing a more equitable, sustainable, and successful industry. Ticket prices range from £25 to £150.
Topics of discussion include female leadership in a post-pandemic world, the extent to which diversity and inclusion are still an industry priority and the links between diversity and sustainability.
Women in Travel founder and managing director Alessandra Alonso said: "We are delighted to be giving a first glimpse of the programme for the International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum 2022, and are very excited to be welcoming incredibly talented, inspiring and high-profile speakers."
