Ireland will gain a new route to Israel’s second city in the spring, which will become the first non-stop service linking the two countries.
Israeli carrier El Al will launch three-times-weekly Dublin-Tel Aviv flights in March, operating the route using a two-class Boeing 737.
Flights will be scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, starting 26 March, with a flight time of approximately six hours.
El Al said the new route would create new business opportunities for both countries, particularly around technology.
"The Irish market will be provided with a new destination full of culture and heritage, while also creating new routes for religious pilgrimage to the Holy Land," the carrier added.
