Ireland’s first direct flight to Tel Aviv officially took off on Thursday (23 March).
Israeli airline El Al launched the service from Dublin and plans to operate three routes weekly between the two destinations.
New business opportunities will be established for both countries, the carrier said, due to the growing relationship between the two sectors.
Flights are scheduled to operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with a flight time of approximately six hours.
Using a Boeing 737, the flight route will offer both economy and business class.
